I am a special education teacher in a small rural K-12 school and our students do not always have a high exposure to adventures/excitement, unless watching the corn grow and seeing a combine drive through town counts! These materials will help the students see that there is adventure in the greater world!
Students that feel a lot of learning opportunities are boring will be more engaged utilizing these materials. The high interest books will draw them in to topics that may be of high interest to them.
Being able to regulate your reading, your writing and your sensory input is amazing and helpful for the students. These materials will help them reach those goals easily!
