I teach ESL and Technology Literacy to newly-arrived immigrant students in a Boston Public School. Boston International Newcomers Academy is the only public school in Boston that serves 100% immigrant students. Students come from countries like: Somalia, Eritrea, Vietnam, DR Congo, Morocco, Syria, Dominican Republic, Cape Verde, Haiti, Guatemala, and Honduras. 100% of students receive free breakfast, lunch, and snacks due to their low income status. My students are resilient, curious, inventive, and dedicated to learning.
