A student should never feel insecure about lacking everyday basic needs. Join BDS as we come together to support our Scholars! Our job is to be the change agents positively affecting the lives of our future artists, teachers, business leaders, medical professionals, etc. A Scholar's journey to fulfilling their dream should not be detoured by feeling embarrassed over how they arrive to learn every day.
Most of us take for granted simple things such as bath soaps or laundry detergents while for others these are consistent concerns. Helping to secure these items is just one of the many steps we as a community must take to ensure our Scholars' academic and personal growth and overall success. Sometimes all it takes is one person showing that they care to affect a life forever.
