I see myself in every one of my kids and we share a special connection because I live in this great community. My students have a learning difference called dyslexia. They all share a special bond and when they come together a lot of learning is done. Reading is not automatic to them like it is to the majority of students. Their dyslexia classroom makes them feel comfortable to make mistakes. They know it is OK to not know the answer all the time. I can see their confidence growing and my goal is to empower them each and every minute I can.
