A classroom rug will perfect our classroom. It will make it warm, inviting, and comfortable. My students need a place that will act as a "home base" for our whole group lessons, morning meetings, and book readings. This space will also act as a comfortable seating option during our differentiated math and reading centers. Students will be able to work here together or independently.
My students learn best when they are able to move and are given choices for their working options. Students will be able to focus on their academic activity by being comfortable, and not having to worry about the distractions around them.
