My students are a mixture of Hispanic, Caucasian, Asian American, Native American, and African American heritage. They are a verbal, inquisitive, and curious group that sometimes need a hook to get the interest going. Our school is a hub of activities for students, both during and after school. Varieties of clubs, sports, and academic opportunities are provided to accommodate both students' interest and learning styles. Our school is a safe place for our students. We continue to provide a diverse menu of opportunities to ensure that our students connect with their learning in such a way that it persists even when they are no longer in our realm of academic influence. Lifelong learning through intellectual games can be an effective way to practice, gain, and interact with knowledge in a process that can apply to other areas of life.
