My students attend a Title 1 school with 98% of the student population living at the poverty level. The students do not let their present circumstances dictate how bright their futures may glow. Many of our students are unable to receive support from home because our parents have a lack of technological knowledge. Thus our students fall short and lack many of the necessary technology skills that we use daily. However, they are quick learners and have figured out how to maneuver their way around computers and an Ipad 2. These tools are preparing them for the future and grooming them to be life long learners and successful adults.
