The students in my 3 Art 1 High School Courses will explore color theory and learn about Primary, Secondary and Tertiary colors and how they are applied as an element of art and the chemistry behind color evolution.
Students will create watercolor charts to use as references while exploring the world of color. They will be displaying Analogous, Monochromatic, Complimentary, Split Complimentary and the Triad to use specifically for the Unit on Color Theory.
Still life, self portraits, landscapes, pop art are just a few of the lessons within the unit the students will find engaging.
