I have the honor of teaching the gift of Spanish as a foreign language to high school students at a Career, Technical and Agricultural Education high school in Georgia. Our student body is made up by 635 students. 70% are African American, and about 53% receive free lunch. Additionally, our school currently has 73 students with active military families.
My students are my inspiration as I walk into my classroom daily, and the best part of my job is to see their successes in their acquisition of the language. However, we have challenges as our resources for world languages seem to be limited every year and I wish to provide them with quality opportunities and authentic materials to expand their desire to continue on their language proficiency journey. Your contribution will make the difference in our classroom where we learn to communicate Spanish as we strengthen our classroom community. Thank you!
