The stools in our classroom are quite old. The "feet" on them have started breaking off and are not easily repairable. When those feet break off, the stools become very wobbly and have caused many students to fall right off their seat!
Students would be able to focus and feel safer if they did not have to worry about falling off of their wobbly stool. As you can imagine, this has been a very big problem for my younger students (k-1) as they are too small to reach the floor to stabilize the stool. I have chosen 24 stools because I have 6 stools per table, but even a stool or two would be a great start in replacing the broken ones.
