I teach students in an ever-changing, socioeconomic challenging school. These students are technologically challenged because they do not have computers in their home. The jobs that my students will get haven't been thought of yet, but guaranteed, those jobs will require that my students are able to navigate new technology. Additionally I want to encourage the home-school connection by involving our parents and students together in researching, writing and publishing their family stories and histories.
