We are a Title 1 school. Our school has a diverse population that includes students coming from migrant, homeless, and low income families. Many of our students do not have access books in the home other than those provided through the school library. Improving reading scores is our top priority. We view success in reading as the most important skill for breaking the cycle of poverty in our community. We also want students to develop a love of reading.
