My students are high school freshmen thru seniors. They are a fun and happy group of young adults. They love coming to school, listening to music, hanging with friends, and all the same things that all teenagers enjoy. They attend school in an urban district with a high poverty rate. My students face daily struggles from disabilities. My students enjoy learning about vocational skills such as how to get a job and complete a job task. They also enjoy learning about many daily living skills such as cooking and healthy eating. Everyday as I enter my classroom, I am greeted with the many smiles of my students happy to be at school and to be learning. I'm truly blessed to be working with my group of life skills students.
