As an educator, I am in a unique position to understand the needs of my students and the communities in which they live. Most of my students come from low-income households OR are part of the "working poor." I never want to put a burden of purchasing additional supplies for classroom projects on my students. We have needs when it comes to our annual projects on causes like Breast Cancer Awareness, Domestic Violence Awareness, Sexual Assault Awareness, and our annual Food Drive, etc. But with your support, we wouldn't have to worry about that. Advocacy for students is an essential part of a teacher's profession. This is one reason I'm here today on ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½.org to ask for your help.
