I teach in the inner city of Houston at a Title 1 campus compromised of students from all over the city and the world. My students are transitioning into English from the Spanish bilingual program. They are bright, determined, and hilarious! I use Donors Choose to go above and beyond what the district can provide to give them a world-class educational experience.
My wish for all my students is to help them believe they are capable of achieving high academic success in English.
