My students have a passion for learning and for music making. However, many of them have limited opportunities, as they come from low income families. Our school is a charter school, and for the past 5 years, the main focus of the school has been on foreign language and science. Our hope is to build the music and art department in years to come and give the kids more performance and learning opportunities.
