I love teaching! The children who are in front of me every day teach me as much as I teach them. We learn together, and spend time as a classroom family. These students enrich my life so much, and I enjoy advocating for them on a daily basis. After being a special educator for so long, I am now working harder than ever to get my students back into the general education classroom. Co-teaching has helped me lead by example, and my time as a general educator has really equipped me for a rich fulfilling co-teaching relationship. It is amazing to see special education students thrive in the general education environment. Let's make this world more diverse and accepting one classroom at a time.
