As anyone familiar with middle school knows, students this age are seeking to find themselves and are often stuck between still being "a kid" and the more mature world of "teenager."
Books provide a great guide for students as they make their way through their tumultuous middle school years.
Building community and sharing common experiences support the relationship-building that kids will carry with them all the way through high school.
I care deeply for every student I teach and truly appreciate the kindness and generosity of all donors to my projects. My students and I cannot thank you enough and hope that you, too, lose yourself in a good book!
