We all like to have that special cozy spot to go to at the end of the day to relax...the one with the extra-comfy chair and good book in which to escape. I will transform a bare, less-functional space in the school's Media Center into a comfy, leisure reading area for students; a place where they can get lost in a good book; a place where they can develop a life-long love of reading. With 3 colorful 30" beanbags chairs and three matching large floor pillows from Lakeshore Learning, our students will be able to select a cozy space in which to get lost in a good book. These colorful soft areas, along with a flower rug recently given to the Media Center, will transform this space into an area for reading that the students will love.
