Phillip O Berry Academy Of Technology serves 1,573 students in grades 9-12. The student:teacher ratio of 17:1 is higher than the North Carolina state level of 16:1. The minority enrollment is 97% of the student body (majority Black), which is higher than the North Carolina state average of 51%. Although we don't qualify for Title I, we are at the amount that would deem us a Title 1 school. As a STEM Magnet, we draw students from all over Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools at a variety of different levels. I work with students in all levels of math from Algebra to AP and support them on their educational journey.
