Each Spring, my students spend several days taking our state's standardized tests. Students typically test for 3-4 hours each morning, and they get one break. Students with full bellies are proven to have greater focus and concentration, but some students aren't able to bring a snack from home. I want to make extra sure that my students aren't hungry so that they have enough energy to thrive during these extended testing sessions.
I am requesting a variety of healthy snack packs that I can give to the students in my Academic Block class each morning of testing.
I have requested cheez-its, red vines, pretzels, and water. My students can either eat the snack right then, to supplement their breakfast, or they can save it to eat during the testing break. Either way, these snacks will really help maintain my students' energy during these long testing periods, and there is enough variety that every student is sure to find something that he or she enjoys. Thank you for helping my students do their best!
