I have the privilege of teaching over 150 fabulous students at Kohala High School, which is located on Hawaii's rural Big Island. My students are smart and hardworking with lots of potential. This is a low-income community where around 75% of students receive free or reduced lunch. I don't want these obstacles to stand in the way of my students' futures. My goal is to provide a safe place for all students to grow and learn, regardless of outside circumstances.
