Our classroom is a 5th grade bilingual classroom. The student population is predominately Hispanic and receives free lunch, according to the poverty guidelines. My students are eager and willing to learn. They are well behaved, respectful and just want to learn as any other child does in the US. The school is overcrowded and is has limited funds for things as dictionaries. Currently, we are facing ginormous budget cuts and there are limited funds for basic necessities four our classroom. One necessity that we lack is simple copy paper. This basic school supply is something a classroom needs in order to copy newsletters, tests, homework and various other projects and activities.
