This classroom contains many grade levels throughout the day. From 7th Grade Energy topics, 8th Grade Robotics and Automation, 10th Grade STEM studies about Mars missions, to 11th and 12th Grade Students studying the Principles of Physics.
We like to do and experience science! The classes go outside quite a bit to calculate the velocity of baseballs and footballs, their own velocity as they sprint on the track, and chemical and physical reactions of common kitchen ingredients.
Our students race automated cars down the hallway that they program. They built a track and customized cars for Pinewood Derby races.
As you can see - class is not only about the formula and theory, but it's also about the How and Why that makes Science interesting.
