My students are in 6th and 8th grade, who attend an alternative education school. They are in smaller learning environments than the schools they came from. Most of the kids are here because they have been kicked out of their schools for behavior issues or attendance issues. They really want to learn. They are just missing some basic concepts to succeed. They need to spend a little more time getting the concepts. They also want a little more attention given to them.
