I'm an elementary school teacher at a community school in Paso Robles, one filled with loving and dedicated families, students who want safe places to learn, and peers who believe in creating lasting relationships with their students. I teach 4th graders who started their schooling during covid and are entering a changed world that'll require their resilience, strength, and intellectual flexibility. I taught in King City, CA for eight years and loved every minute of it, and I won Teacher of the year at Santa Lucia Elementary in 2023. I love teaching all subjects, have a Master's Degree in Fine Arts in Creative Writing (Fiction), a multi-subject credential, a single subject credential to teach English in Middle or High School, and just finished an administrative services program at CSU Monterey Bay to one day help lead a school campus. I feel fortunate to serve a community like Paso Robles now!
