I want my students to feel comfortable, safe, and relaxed when entering my classroom so that they have the best environment in which to learn.
Students deserve a clean space to learn and the opportunity to see the value in cleanliness by taking part in maintaining the classroom with cleaning supplies. Making the air surrounding them a little fresher, using essential oils will help to create a calming atmosphere for those students who need a little extra help focusing.
Student work should be displayed on something special like the wall art tapestry to show how much their efforts are noticed and praised. And no classroom should be without glue, markers, and a pencil sharpener, which mine has been for the whole school year so far!
Please help my students continue to foster pride in their school and through that, themselves, by having a classroom environment that is curated with their overall health and learning as a whole in mind.
