We'll have fun fostering literacy, creativity and compassion as we READ, WRITE, RESEARCH, and DISCUSS the diverse ideas, artwork, artists, students, times, cultures and places in this Scholastic Art Magazine for kids. We'll support literacy by providing relevant (and current!) ART reading opportunities for students at their level and help foster compassion and understanding of diversity (people, ideas, cultures) as students are presented with artists/artwork that reflects a wide range of diversity. We will use this resource to practice reading and visual literacy skills, critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills to learn about others and create original art expressing who we are! THANK YOU for supporting LITERACY through the ARTS foster understanding and effective communication! ART MATTERS (This subscription will be used primarily with grades 5-12, but also as a resource for younger students!)
