I teach in a title one school in Northeast Texas. Our mission is to improve the critical thinking and problem-solving skills of all of our students. My class wants to learn and I am ready to teach them but I don't always have the extra money to make those exciting projects come to life in my classroom. We are located in a community with a high percentage of low socio-economic families who work very hard to make ends meet. We also have a high percentage of English as Second Language students who strive to learn, but I can't also meet their exact needs without having the products and materials they need to be successful.
