Our elementary school is K-3 and also houses a preschool program for developmentally delayed children.
I, Mrs. Dykes, along with my assistant, Mrs. McArdle, love working as a team in the Library Media Center. We see over 500 students each week and share lessons on library skills as well as STEM activities.
We are excited to share new and exciting stories and activities that capture their attention and hopefully develop a lifelong love of learning.
Our students are eager to come see us daily and weekly to check out books and see what new titles are in through the Donor's Choose Project that you help fund! This year our school turned 60 years old and our Library Media Center is in need of updating as so much of our circulation is in disrepair and unattractive to students.
By donating to our projects you can help our children engage with a great story and develop of love of literature and learning. Thank you!!!
