My Kindergarten students are a racially mixed group of 5 & 6 year old special education students, regular education students, and English Language Learners. This diverse population of children provides a beautiful challenge every school year for me to bring children from diverse backgrounds together as a family, to respect each others differences, to find commonality, and to learn to love school.
