My choir students will have the opportunity to apply the music theory skills learned in class to playing the digital keyboards. This will help them to improve their sight reading, rehearse their vocal parts independently, and work in sectional rehearsals. The students will also be able learn to play simple accompaniments, create songs, and record them for class projects. Having digital keyboards with headsets allows students to work simultaneously without disrupting other classroom activities. We hope to use these keyboards as part of a music technology lab in the future. These keyboards will be available to all students in the school.
