My students have bright, inquisitive minds but have had limited exposure to the books and supporting materials necessary to build reading ability, fluency, and provide for vocabulary development. Parents have chosen to send their children to an impoverished charter school because they believe small class size coupled with dedicated teachers and a zero tolerance for bullying will ensure a good education and better future for their entire family.
