We have a very low, socioeconomic group of families, and over 80% of our school is on free or reduced-fare lunch. These kids work hard in school and I want to be able to give them ideas as to what things they enjoy doing and can become good at. If they never get a chance to try mosaics, or gardening, then how will they learn to create beautiful art or grow their own food?
