The best way to teach math is through a hands-on, discovery approach. Every year consumable supplies are used in my classroom to allow students to explore and communicate mathematical principles. Students document their findings in interactive notebooks to keep as a record of their learning for the year. Different materials are needed to create these interactive materials and to create organizational materials for recording.
