This project strives to cultivate white allies for racial justice in education. In order to be responsive to the needs of our diverse population, our predominantly white teachers need to understand the history of racism and why students of color feel how they feel. If we are to guide our students on their journey to success, and truly fight for justice and educational equity, then we as white teachers to students of color need to start our own journey towards true understanding and take responsibility for our own education by reading books like Stamped, among others.
