My kindergarteners and first graders with special needs fill this room with joy and fun. We work hard also learn through playing together. Often my kids have never played with a toy before and our room gives them that chance. For example, yesterday one of my students played with a wooden train set for the first time.
We also have an amazing classroom library. I have tried very hard to collect easy readers that my students will actually be motivated to read. Most kids like super heros so I now own all the super hero easy readers and can probably tell you more than you want to know about each hero.
