I would like to create a maker space in the library that is appropriate and inclusive of all students in K-5th grade elementary school library. I would like to provide activity tables that allow students to build Legos, draw and color, play with Playdoh, and participate in other artistic activities. I would like to purchase a wide variety of art materials including things like Playdoh, duct tape, crafting tape, parachute cord, rubberbands, embroidery thread, glue and other "slime" making materials so they can explore activities and creative abilities during time in the library. Paper crafting and scrapbooking materials would be nice.
