Greetings! I teach middle school art. I service a diverse group of 6th, 7th and 8th graders. They are so eager to learn, and they really LOVE art! Everyday I have students who want to just hang around in the art room and help in any way possible. They love creating projects and want to know what they will be making next. I try my best to provide my students with every experience possible because they do not always see the brighter side of life as displayed by their community. I strive to challenge them in art class and their abilities to create something they can be proud of. Nothing else makes me smile and bubble on the inside quite like seeing a young student "light up" after they discover the scientific effects of mixing colors, water and wax resist, or cutting out a symmetrical snowflake. I would love to provide more hands on experience. Please help me enlighten young and eager minds!
