Materials like tablets, blocks, a Cricut machine, markers, glue sticks, puzzles, pencils, etc., will help us because we are rebuilding after losing everything from Hurricane Harvey. When my students return to school there will not be any materials for them to use to learn with. Cleaning out the classroom was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do, because I had to throw away work, bean bags, mats, snacks, markers, games, etc. I have never cried so much until I saw the classroom. These kids are my babies. Just because they are special needs doesn't mean anything. They aren't different they are just like everyone else. Every child every day. These materials will help them with their social skills as far as learning to make coffee and learning to cook and clean and be able to survive when they graduate from high school. We need technology in the hands of our students so that they can learn through great technology throughout the school year.
