I would absolutely love to try stability balls in my classroom. I want several of the stability balls to allow for students to use one if they choose. Using alternative seating not only gives the students choice, but gives them an alternative learning environment that is conducive to learning. Students that have a need to get the wiggles out will find this a great outlet while learning is taking place. Students using alternative seating are more likely to work in the atmosphere that they have created.
Students using alternative seating are: more productive, more engaged, have a greater attention span, are less disruptive and have higher quality work!
I believe I will see happier and more productive students as a result of using alternative seating!
