My goal is to provide materials that are updated and pique my students' interest, so they remain engaged and focused. This project is for items necessary for making materials (cardstock and velcro for making books; construction paper, crayons, and markers for crafts; colored paper for sending home important information) that will allow all of my students to learn at their own rate and also while learning to monitor their own progress toward IEP goals and working in small groups and independently.
All materials in my speech room require adaptations for targeting and meeting goals for each student. Laminating sheets will ensure that the materials last for extend periods of time. The velcro dots are part of adapting books, daily schedules, and countless other items used daily. Therefore, materials will be purchased from Teachers Pay Teachers, then laminated for continued use for years to come.
