My middle school is one of the most diverse in the state. My students are as different as can be. However, they all come together in my class and bond over math. My students love doing independent practice on dry erase boards. They love friendly competition. They love engaging activities like stations and scavenger hunts. They also love working in small groups and working together for a common goal.
