Coming into work every day is not like working at all! We have the pleasure of working with 64 four and five year olds who demonstrate what life should be like...adventurous, exciting and full of wonder. We teach in Northern California in a school district that is strapped for cash. We are provided with limited resources by our fabulous PTA but after purchasing basic Kindergarten necessities such as crayons, paper and glue, we are not left with much. Many of the parents of our children are working so hard just to put food on the table that they do not have the time to take their children to parks, public gardens or museums. This is why we like to provide meaningful educational experiences through science for our children.
