I have a classroom full of kind, eager, and fun students. They are a great group of 23 students and do a good job at making our classroom feel like a home away from home. We laugh, learn, and sometimes share sadness together. I am always looking to give the students another avenue to get up and move. They love the outdoors. I have a chicken coop for them to take care of outside my classroom window. We sometimes take our books outside and sit around the coop to do our learning. We also bundle up on the coldest and snowiest of days to have the most fun out on the playground by ourselves. Not too many others are willing to go out on a 10 degree snowy day. We make snow angles, build forts, and create snowmen. We also learn a great deal in class, of course. But even a 20-30 minute "brain break" does wonders for the mind. We're an active class with a great sense of humor, lots of action, and great progress.
