My goal for my students is that they enjoy reading and have a love for learning. I work in a low socioeconomic area. Many of the students have limited exposure and access to books before entering Kindergarten. Dr. Seuss said "The more that you read, the more that you know. The more that you learn the more places you go!" It is critical that we provide these opportunities to these students in order for them to be successful scholars. The students enjoy being able to choose their own stories to listen to, practice their language skills through games, and develop their writing.
