The chair pouch organizers that I am requesting will improve student productivity in our classroom. Right now, students do not have a good place to keep their notebooks, folders, and supplies. We have tables instead of desks in our classroom, so students have to keep their supplies in cubbies, or in plastic bins under their tables. As you can imagine, this can get pretty messy and disorganized. When students keep their supplies in cubbies, instructional time is lost because students need to get the supplies they need for each subject during the day. In addition, when supplies are kept in plastic bins, the all of the students' supplies get mixed up. Notebooks and papers also get bent and crumpled up. When the students need their supplies, they have to waste time digging through the bins to find their things, which are usually not in good shape. Having these chair pouches will keep students organized by giving them one place to keep all of their supplies. Having their school supplies right on the back of their chairs will increase instructional time because students will not to spend extra minutes searching for their supplies.
