I have the privilege of teaching three 5th grade classes this year for a total of about 66 students. My classroom is very engaging and structured. My students use cooperative learning structures during lessons to build self-esteem, confidence, and communication skills. They are a diverse group of students coming from various ethnicities and social-economic statuses; as well as contributing diversity to the classroom with abilities, skills, and interests.
About my class
