I teach Math Essentials to 60 high school freshmen. This class is especially designed to ensure that students who are several years behind in math master the foundational skills they need to be successful in the rest of their high school and college math courses. My students will make several year's worth of growth over the course of nine months; technology will help us tackle this challenge and meed this audacious goal. With Chromebooks, students will be able to work at their own pace, on skills tailored to their individual needs. Online math curriculum will enhance the work we do as a class and ensure that students receive instant feedback on their progress.
