I am a teacher for over 22 years in the same public school. The school contains students from grades PreK-8. There are almost 700 students. I am the technology teacher for the entire school. I am responsible for teaching all students in grades Kindergarten to Grade 6 one 40 minute period a week and Grades 7 & 8 two 40 minute periods a week. The classes range from 2 to 3 homerooms per grade level. My classroom is set up with long tables and chairs. Grades K-3 come to technology class and use Acer Chromebooks kept in a cart in my class. Grades 4-8 have personal Acer Chromebooks that are assigned to them at the beginning of the school year and they use throughout the year. They bring them to technology class when they come. I connect my Acer Chromebook to a projector that displays the image on a screen hanging down from the wall. It is an old pulldown screen. Class size range from 21 - 33 students at one time.
